“Rain” of medals in the Balkans

With 23 medals in their luggage, the Greek and Greek karatekas who participated in the 22nd Balkan Junior Games returned to Athens today (7/11). The event was held in the Bar of Mavrovounio on the three days of November 4-6 with the participation of 10 countries and approximately 1,000 sportsmen and women

Gold medals were won by Alexis Liaskas (Young Men’s Kata), Maria Pavlitina (-59m. Juniors), Giorgos Baliotis (-61m. Juniors) and Dimitris Koulouris (-60m. U21). Greece had three silvers with Christina Pappa (-48k. Youth), Sergios Karvounis (+84k. U21) and the team Kumite of Adolescents.
