Neymar publishes open letter thanking coach Tite

by

After posting the messages he exchanged with striker Rodrygo and defenders Marquinhos and Thiago Silva in Instagram stories, Neymar also used the social network to send an “open letter to Tite”, thanking the coach for the time he commanded the national team Brazilian team and lamenting the end of the dream in the Qatar Cup.

“You deserved to be crowned with this Cup, we all deserved it for everything we did and for everything we gave up to try to reach our biggest dream. But God didn’t want it that way, patience. God gave us EVERYTHING!”, wrote the number 10.

Check out the letter to the commander in full:

“Before we met in person, we played against me many times, and can I tell you? I thought you were very annoying! Because you put together a team to mark me, you did everything to beat me and you even spoke ill of me. But fate It’s funny, isn’t it? He put you as his coach and me as his number 10.

I knew you as a coach and I already knew you were very good, but as a person you are MUCH BETTER!
You met me and you know who I am and that’s what matters to me….

I come here openly to thank you for everything, all the teachings you gave us… and there were so many.
You will always be one of the best coaches I’ve ever had or will ever have, I will always hold you up. We had beautiful moments but we also had moments that hurt us a lot and this last one will hurt us for a long time.

You deserved to be crowned with this Cup, we all deserved it for everything we did and for everything we gave up to try to achieve our biggest dream. But God didn’t want it that way, patience. God gave us EVERYTHING!

Thank you professor Tite, for all the learning… And if there’s a phrase that I’ll never forget, it’s ‘MENTALLY STRONG’ and we’ll have to be A LOT at that moment!

A big hug and thank you.”

Still hurts

The player also published a message on social networks as soon as he landed in Brazil, coming from Qatar, this Sunday (11). In the text, he regrets that he still hasn’t learned to lose and that defeat still hurts a lot. In the end, he thanked the fans for their support during the World Cup.
