A new share capital increase, amounting to 5 million euros, was decided at the General Assembly of PAOK FC that took place today in Toumba.
The “present” was given by the vice-president and managing director of Dikefalos, Makis Gagatsis, the vice-president of AS PAOK and a member of the Board. of PAE, Democrat Papadopoulos, the legal advisor Achilleas Mavromatis and the tax expert of PAE, Dimitris Panozachos.
The new AMK concerns the needs of the “black and white” PAE and by law will be covered in two months (until February 21), with Ivan Savvidis again having the first say in its coverage.
Regarding the financial report for the year from 1/7/2020 to 30/6/2021, PAOK FC had revenues of 38,943,000 while the losses amounted to 3,744,000 and it was the year with the fewest losses.
At the same time it was decided not to add a new member to the Board of Directors.
Makis Gagatsis was asked about how PAE will be protected from incidents like the ones that took place in the derby with Aris and caused huge competitive and financial damage to the team. “It sounds cliché but any act of violence is condemnable. Clearly we will take every measure possible to prevent any incident that will harm the team. It is not something easy. Mood matters. Not only ours, but also the fans. “The only thing I can guarantee is that we will do everything so that it does not happen again,” he stressed.
He clarified that there is no excuse for those who invaded the stadium: “It is a myth that PAE pays lawyers for the fans».
