OFI defeated Aristotelis Skydras 3-0 in the Macedonian city of Kalivia in the tail derby of the 12th game of the Volley League and with its second victory in the championship escaped with +3 in the scoreboard from the newcomers.
OFI entered the game very strongly and, with an offensive “edge” from Giumaka, but also from Demirtsi’s serves, led 12-6 and 22-15. Aristotle with a 5-0 streak reduced to 20-22 and 22-23 with Mendes. Giumakas made 22-24 with a blockout and 22-25 on a counter attack for 0-1.

OFI reached 19-15, but Aristotelis with a 3-0 run reduced it to 18-19. A point that came from the video check with a nail by Demirci kept OFI ahead 20-22. With Adami’s block, the Cretans reached 20-23 and with Ambrao’s nail it was 21-24.
OFI also started the third set strongly with 2-6 and 9-15 and, with Giumaka unstoppable, the Cretans cruised to victory.
