He started his career from the French CS Sedan B and then competed for the English Doncaster. A stint in Belgium and RE Bertrix followed, before returning to France for AFC Compiegne.
Rashid Buena then played in Algeria where he played for CS Constantine and MC Algiers, while in the 2018/19 season he played for Scottish side Dundee United. For the last 3.5 years, he played in the Romanian league, where he played successively in Sepsi OSK, CFR Cluj and FCSB (Steaua Bucharest). He has competed in the CAF-Champions League and also in the qualifiers of the European competitions.
