The international evaluation tables of the last week of 2021 have been published

With the week charts, the ITTF closes the first year, where the charts circulated weekly and ceased to be monthly, as has traditionally been the case for decades.

From the Greek side, Panagiotis Gionis and Katerina Toliou remained the leaders from the beginning to the end of the year in men and women respectively.

On Tuesday, Gionis is at number 54 in the world with 2,630 points and Toliou at 145 with 1,360. On the occasion of the publication of the latest ranking lists of the year, it is an opportunity to see at what scoring levels all Greek internationals complete in 2021.

Regarding the tables for the young ages, it should be noted that our three athletes with the highest placements, Malamatenia Papadimitriou, Despina Abba and Giannis Kioseloglou will finish their presence in the categories U17, U15 and U11 respectively in positions 51, 89 and 15.

In the men’s ranking, after Gionis, comes the European champion of the simple K21, Giannis Sgouropoulos. It is at number 149. They are followed by George Konstantinopoulos at 450, Konstantinos Konstantinopoulos at 472, George Stamatouros at 577, Konstantinos Angelakis at 771 and Tassos Riniotis at 888.

In the women, Toliou is followed by Konstantina Paridi, who in the final of the year is at number 270. From there and beyond, Elisavet Terpou is at number 431, Maria Christoforaki at 522, Georgia Zavitsanou at 542, Malamatenia Papadi at 611, Ioanna Gerasimatou at 867, Dimitra-Thomas Tsekoura at 1,236 and Aliki Kioufi at 1,237.

At a young age, the Greek athletes with the best positions at the end of the year are the following:

Under 19: Alexandros Madesis No 227 – Malamatenia Papadimitriou No 74

Under 17: Alexandros Madesis No 150 – Malamatenia Papadimitriou No 51

Under 15: Giannis Kioseloglou No 220 – Despina Aba No 89

Under 13: Giannis Kioseloglou No 83 – There is no graded Greek woman

Under 11: Giannis Kioseloglou No 15 – There is no graded Greek woman
