United escaped from Leeds and overtook City!

by

A few days ago, he saw his comeback kick off in the home match against the Leedswhere his team came back from 0-2 down and got the draw.

Today, Mr Marcus Rashford paved the way to take all three points at Manchester Unitedwhere prevailed 2-0 of the “peacocks” away from home with goals from the English striker and Garnazzo in the last minutes.

The home side were dangerous enough but fell short in the final effort, with the Red Devils finally getting a goal through Dalot in the 63rd minute – with the Portuguese hitting the post.

Seventeen minutes later came redemption for the visitors, with Shaw finding Rashford in the area and the latter sending the ball into the net with a fine header.

In fact, Erik ten Hag’s team did not stop there, as in the 85th minute the second goal came from Garnazzo, who sealed the “three points” with a nice effort and finish from the left! And the delays, two goals disallowed of Rashford and Weghorst!

With this victory, United overtook Manchester City in 2nd place in the Premier League standings and found themselves -5 off the top – having of course two matches in hand.

And the losers remained at +1 from the danger zone.
