“Nails” from Atsu’s manager for Hatayspor: “The club is not on our side”

by

Attack on Hatayspor his manager fired Christian AtsuNana Secere, as he considers that the Turkish club is indifferent to his finding, nine days after the devastating earthquake that “struck” the neighboring country and Syria.

The agent of the 31-year-old extreme attacker, also spoke about the delay of the rescue crews, due to a lack of financial resources, appealing to the mayor of the city, in order to speed up the process of rescuing the missing, as well as the Ghanaian footballer.

In detail what he said:

“It’s been 9 days since the earthquake and we still haven’t found Christian (Atsu). I am in the ruins of his residence in Hatay with Christian’s family.

The scenes unfolding are beyond imagination and our hearts are broken for those affected. Things are moving incredibly slowly and many rescue operations have been delayed. We located the exact location of Christian’s room and found two pairs of shoes that belonged to him. Lives were lost due to lack of financial resources for workers.

It’s a shame, but the club is not with us in trying to find Christian. Their position, their influence, combined with their knowledge would be incredibly important.

We are asking the mayor of Hatay, Lutfu Savas, to provide additional financial resources to speed up the process of the rescue crews. We also need a translator.”
