Official: Vokolos took over Lamia

The… keys of Lamia to Leonida Vokolo.

The Fthiotida team announced his recruitment 52-year-old technicianwho replaces Savvas Pantelidis.

The previous station in his coaching career was Kallithea, while in the past he has worked in Paneiyaleio, Corfu, Olympiakos Volos, Panionio and Olympiakos Nicosia. He has also served as technical director at Panathinaikos, as well as coach of the “clover” academies.

Leonidas Vokolos is called upon once again in his coaching career to take over a team that is in a difficult position, after the adventure with Panionios in the 2019/20 season when the “blue and white” were also relegated.

PAE PAS LAMIA 1964 is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with the 52-year-old Greek coach, Leonidas Vokolos.

The experienced technician began his coaching career in 2010 by taking over the technical leadership of the National Children’s National Team, with which he qualified for the final phase of the European Championship (U17), to follow in 2011 with Neos, with whom he also qualified for finally of Euro U19. In August 2011, he was promoted to the Men’s National team, assuming the duties of assistant coach to Fernando Santos.

On a collective level, he worked in Paneiyaleio, Corfu, Olympiakos Volos, Panionio, Olympiakos Nicosia and Kallithea. He has also been technical director at Panathinaikos.
