Durant: ‘I love Irving and Harden, we just didn’t get to play enough together’

by

His move caused a big bang in the NBA Kevin Durant to the Chance.

“KD” decided to leave them… under disbandment Nets and move to Phoenixwhere in the context of a press conference he referred to the years he spent in Brooklyn, stressing that the sample of his coexistence with Irving and Harden on the floor it was too small to be considered a failure.

What Durant said in detail:

For the Nets: “It’s been a lot of ups and downs, but I’ve enjoyed this time. Everyone in Brooklyn loved that time too, so I started a family there. It will always be a part of my journey. I love those guys (including Harden and Irving), I feel emotional talking about it because those were four special years in my career coming off a big injury and they helped me overcome a lot. I have nothing bad to say. It was terrible how some things turned out, but at the end of the day, I loved going through Brooklyn. I wish them the best in the future, they have a bright future.”

For Kyrie Irving and James Harden: “We just didn’t play together enough on the court. When you see James, Kyrie and me, it was amazing basketball, but only for 17 games. To win a championship and be a great team, you just need more time on the floor. It’s another story why we didn’t get on the floor together, but we just didn’t have enough time. These are Hall of Fame players that I learned a lot from every day and I wish them the best. It just didn’t work out for us.”
