Olympiacos is looking for a win against USK Prague in SEF

After the comfortable “double” (50-80) over PAOK in Thessaloniki, for the 20th matchday of the A1 championship, the Olympiakos Women’s basketball team returns to Europe, with a strong “battle”.

Her Wednesday (22/2) at 17:00 (YouTube/EuroLeague Women), the doubles of Greece welcome the strong USK Prague in the main hall of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, for the 13th matchday of the EuroLeague group stage.

Against the Czech team, second in the standings of the first group of the tournament (eight wins, four losses), the girls of Thrylos have a difficult task, but they want to present a good face in SEF and claim the best possible result.

They are a team with the same philosophy for years, very dangerous in transition and excellent in defense. In the away game, despite the absences he had as a team, he forced us to play a bad game.

We want to see our mistakes and, although this time they have no absences, we are playing at home and we want to show our good elements and our good habits, which we start and acquire”.

Anna-Niki Stamolambrau: “We are playing against Prague, a team that is considered one of the favorites for the Final-4 of the EuroLeague and possibly for winning the title. We know the potential of the opposing team, but we are working very well in training and what the coach asks of us and we want to continue to present a very good playing face, slowly closing our European season.
