Overturning the decision of the Super League 2 Disciplinary Body in relation to Herodotus-AEK II.
In particular, the Appeals Committee of the EPO decided to carry out the match that took place on the 7th of last January.
It is recalled that the team of N. Alikarnassos had come to the field with only six players, as the rest were affected by gastroenteritis, so the match was awarded with a score of 0-3 to the “yellow and black”.
In detail, the EPO announcement:
“At its last meeting, the Appeals Committee made the following decision.
He rejected as inadmissible the appeal of Herodotus against the no. 48/14-2-2023 of the decision of the First Instance Single Member Body of SUPER LEAGUE 2, regarding the monetary penalties.
He accepted, for the rest, formally and essentially, the appeal against no. 48/14-2-2023 of the decision of the Primary Single Member Body of SUPER LEAGUE 2.
He reformed the no. 48/14-2-2023 decision of the Primary Single Member Body of SUPER LEAGUE 2.
Exonerated the appellant P.A.E. under the name “P.A.S.A O HERODOTOS” from the imposed disciplinary penalty of the loss with goals 0-3 of the disputed match between the team of “PAE AEK B” and the team of the call that was to be held on 7-1-2023 at 14:45 at the MUNICIPAL STADIUM OF N. ALIKARNASSOU (Heraklion, Crete) within the framework of the 10th matchday of the SUPER LEAGUE 2 Championship, for the disciplinary violation of article 17 par. 2 and 21 par. 3.II.a of the CAP/EPO 2022, which (as above match) must be rescheduled to be held in accordance with article 21 para. 2 a’ of the CAP/EPO 2022».
