Improbable De Bruyne: “I’m ‘old’ for football, but I feel very young in this room”

by

In an… uncomfortable situation, a journalist tried to bring him Kevin De Bruyne, at the press conference for Manchester City’s upcoming match against Leipzig.

The Belgian star, who is approaching 32 years of age, was asked about the when will he stop playing football with him using his humor and giving… a recital with his answer!

“I never said I was ‘old’. I have said that I am “old” for football, not that I am in general. I apologize, but I feel very young in this room, no mistake, were his words initially, with everyone in the venue bursting into laughter. As for whether he feels grown up now, he added:

“I know how that thing goes when people are talking about you. They talk about form, how you play over the years. I know how to manage it. I don’t know how many years I have left in my career, I’ll keep playing as long as I enjoy it. That day will come when I stop, but I don’t know when.”
