“We lost our minds for a while. When we got ahead, we missed a layup in transition and made a lot of mistakes. They hit three crucial 3-pointers and got back into the game. They had the momentum but we managed to take the game. I really appreciate this win.
It is always difficult to play here. You can’t hear anyone but your own voice. It was a great win with Vezenkov’s fantastic basketball at the end and in the last attack. It was important to us. We didn’t want to give them three points (at the end), no chance for a three point. We didn’t want to lose. We put pressure on the game. They hit a shot at the end, but that’s ok. Sometimes, when the match is decided in the last shot, there is luck involved, but I think we deserved the win.
Throughout the game, after some difficult moments in the first half, we were leading the score. We deserved it. We have creators everywhere. We have unselfish guards, forwards and centers. Mustafa (s.s. Fal) always has many assists, he deserves them. He was pivotal in the game, mainly because he finished many phases near the basket and was creative. We had mobility off the ball and found a lot of layups because of it».
