The Canadian billionaire with Greek roots showed his interest in buying the Hornets, Steve Apostolopoulos!
According to ESPN’s respected reporter, Adrian Wojnarowski, The Greek-Canadian businessman, whose fortune is estimated at 4 billion euros, spoke with the former NBA superstar about acquiring the Charlotte club, but focused on that of Washington Commanders, NFL team.
However, the same publication states that the negotiations have so far not brought the desired result, while Apostolopoulos will have to compete with behemoths in order to proceed with their acquisition, as he will have to compete with Jeff Bezos and the owner of the Houston Rockets, among others.
Steve Apostolopoulos, who hails from Kalamata, is one of the most powerful people in Canada, owning the largest brokerage firm in the North American country.
