With the most important names in the sport, the National Walking Team will participate in the Balkan Championship in Antalya, Turkey on April 9. The two-time European champion and holder of the pan-Hellenic record at 20 kilometers and the top Greek walker will claim the best possible performances in the event.
Drisbioti already reached the limit for the Paris Olympic Games in the 20 km walk, while also improving the Panhellenic record (1.28.12).
Papamihail at 35 kilometers will try to “redeem” the preparation in Colombia.
Kyriaki Filtisakou will take part in the 20km with the aim of “chasing” a performance better than this year’s 1.33.08 in the Panhellenic Championship.
In total, Greece will participate in the event with eight men and six women.
