Grigonis: “When you don’t play you lose your confidence, now I have a role in the team”

Mostly I have a role and I act. When you don’t play you lose your confidence, but I’ve proven that I can compete in the Euroleague and that’s what I’m doing.”

“I want to give credit to coach Serelis. He is a coach who tries hard. He wants to give us roles and I am very happy that he is in the team. What has changed is that we now have a direction. The coach marked a course with his arrival. It takes effort, there are smart workouts. We follow the plans that the coach has for us. Serelis is trying hard, he has given us confidence that we didn’t have and I give him the credit again”.

For Panathinaikos’ goals in the Basketball League:

“We have time. A lot can change. If nothing changes, our goal is to close the gap with Olympiakos. We want our injured players to return, and put more pressure on Olympiakos. We have no pressure, we are the outsiders and we must take advantage of this to put more pressure on Olympiakos”.
