PSAT v. Marinakis: “Clarify to whom your shameful comment was referring”

by

To clarify who he was referring to with his comment that was “caught” by the cameras, upon his arrival at the place where today’s meeting took place with Bennett calls him Vanggeli Marinaki PSAT in its relevant announcement.

The PSAT announcement states in detail:

The Panhellenic Sports Press Association (PSAT) calls on Vangelis Marinakis to clarify to whom his shameful comment was referring, upon entering the EPO offices on Monday (27/3), for the meeting of the representatives of the six teams participating in the playoffs of the Super League with the head referee Steve Bennett and the president of the Federation, Takis Baltako.

The video, in which Vangelis Marinakis can be seen and heard, heading towards the entrance of the EPO offices, uttering an unacceptable phrase in front of the representatives of the press, was posted on the majority of sports websites, under the title “Marinakis to journalists”, a little hour after the president of the Super League and Olympiakos had entered the EPO.

As he represents not only one of the largest sports clubs in Greece as its owner and president, but is also the president of a leading institutional sports body of the Professional Football League (Super League), the PSAT Board of Directors hopes that Vangelis Marinakis will not he was guilty of such a serious offence, that of insulting the honor and dignity of the journalists present, but also of disrespecting the duty of informing the citizens that they perform as a whole.

We reserve a new position, after the clarification from Vangelis Marinakis.

From the Board of Directors of PSAT
