Alafouzos: The Prime Minister’s actions with UEFA are nice, but they do not deal with corruption and vagrancy!

by

Yiannis Alafouzos took a stand by tweeting on his personal account about the action of Kyriakos Mitsotakis to call Ceferin, asking him to mediate on the selection of referees from the “top shelf”.

The powerful man of PAE Panathinaikos pointedly commented that these moves are nice but do not provide a solution to the fight against corruption and vagrancy in Greek football

“The Prime Minister’s actions with UEFA are nice, but they do not deal with corruption and vagrancy in Greek football…”wrote the “green” boss.

We remind you that in the morning it was known that the Prime Minister had contacted the UEFA president, Alexander Ceferin, conveying to him the climate and the magnitude of the problem regarding the refereeing, pointing out to him the danger of “shaking the league in the air”.

Something that Giannis Oikonomou had confirmed with his placement afterwards. “The Prime Minister had communication with the president of UEFA. In our country, a championship is being held that is one of the most competitive in recent years, and I think we all want the football players and obviously the refereeing to contribute so that the next competitions can run transparently”the government representative had stated, among other things.
