AEK beat AEK in “Palataki” and PAOK finished first! The “two-headed man of the north” in terrible form took the victory in the derby with 3-1 set and goes with home advantage in the Women’s Volley League playoffs being at the top with 20 wins and 2 losses counting 59 points!
A great victory for Panathinaikos, who passed the home of Aris with the same score, “erasing” the shocking defeat from Markopoulos in Agios Thomas. At the bottom of the “clover” Olympiacos with a comfortable victory in Rentis over AO Thiras (3-0 set).
PAOK – AEK 3-1 set
In “Palataki” AEK was the one that entered the first set strongly, with Nizetich leading them to victory with 25-23. The “black and white” however managed to react by performing a mythical turnaround in the second set, as they turned -8 (9-17) into +1 (20-19) regaining their composure and equalizing after 25-21. In the third set, PAOK was excellent in blocking and receiving, leaving AEK behind with four points at the most crucial point (18-14). Marco Fenolio’s team did not let the opportunity go to waste and after 25-21 reached 2-1 in the sets. The fourth set was a thriller with PAOK escaping with six points (18-12) and AEK reacting with an impressive 8-0 run making it 18-21. However, it was the “double-header of the north” who celebrated the win with the home team keeping their cool and taking the big win 3-1 in sets after and 26-24.

Olympiacos-AO Thiras 3-0 set
In Renti, Olympiacos did their duty by easily beating AO Thira 3-0. The “red and white” showed their superiority early on against the Santorini team by winning the first set 25-18. The rest was similar with Salas and Tsitsiani leading the way, with the score quickly coming to 25-20 for 2-0. The home team did not want to leave room for AO Thiras and with a sweeping performance in the third set they finished the match with 25-13 for the final 3-0 which brought them definitively to the 4th place of the regular season.

Aris-Panathinaikos 1-3 sets
Panathinaikos won a great victory at the home of Aris (1-3 sets), which managed to finish definitively in the third place of the regular season. The “greens” started sluggishly, as a result of which the Aris players won the first set 25-21, guided by their excellent reception. The guests, however, reacted and after spectacularly improving the percentages from the service line and shielding the block, they made the reversal with 22-25 and 20-25 taking the lead. In the fourth and last set, the team of Yiannis Kalmazidis was sweeping, reaching the impressive victory 14-25 for the final 3-1.
