Karoulias: “Jovanovic has made Panathinaikos a team and deserves the championship more”

Speaking to Metrosport, Nikos Karoulias expressed the opinion that Panathinaikos deserves the championship more than any other team.

The veteran ace of the trefoil praised Ivan Jovanovic for his work in the team while commenting on the presence of Aris in Wednesday’s match against Panathinaikos.

For Panathinaikos:



“Everyone is saying when he will fall from the top and that has to do with the results, he doesn’t score many goals and he doesn’t concede goals easily. This is not bad because he fights every game until the end and continues on his plan. This has put them there at the top and they deserve to take the championship more than the other teams. Jovanovic has made Panathinaikos more of a team and his team does not have quality players from other teams”



For Oliveira:



“Oliveira is for duels, he is heavier than Brandon, with Panathinaikos he played well but in the rest of the league I don’t see anything special. In relation to the strikers of the other teams, he is 4th. And Sporar was not well, but luckily Ioannidis helped. And in the match against Volos, he was not in a good condition.”



For Aris-Panathinaikos:



“Aris wasn’t what I expected him to be, he has a very good team, he wasn’t going to be there in terms of scoring points. In the first half he had phases, collapsed in the second and was below expectations. Aris has amazing players but this year he has an ignorance, a laxity, a childishness in the game. For me, Aris was meant to be in the top four, maybe even in the position of PAOK, although he built his team gradually with the little ones.
