Nand who refuses to “die” is back from the hell of Monaco!

by

Nantes too tough to lose to Monaco! Couboire’s side may have found themselves 2-0 down as the Monegasques managed to come back from hell to equalize in the second half (2-2) and keep the battle for the Champions League alive with eight games to go in Ligue 1.

Monaco remained in 4th place and -2 behind Marseille, while Nantes, which has definitively lost the “train” of Europe, is at the bottom and in 14th place.

The first good moment in the match was the one with which Monaco took the lead. Caio Enrique’s corner kick from the left, Disassi rose above everyone else to head past Lafond to make it 0-1.

The Monegasques did not limit themselves to this goal as nine minutes later Matazo in an identical manner defeated the “air force” of Nantes again by making 0-2.

In the replay, however, the scene changed completely with Nantes pressing suffocatingly for the goal that would turn the tide. So in the 65th minute, after a wonderful foul by Blas, Mohamed reduced the score with a terrific header, giving new interest to the match. Couboire’s side shocked Monaco in the 78th minute when Merlin found Blas in the area and he flicked the ball into the net for a 2-2 draw.
