Players who broke the 40 goal barrier in one season

THE Andy Cole became the first Premier League player to break the 40-goal barrier in all competitions in a single season, scoring 41 in 45 appearances for Newcastle in 93/94. This record was equaled by Harry Kane in 48 games for Tottenham in 17/18.

THE Cristiano Ronaldoalso scored 42 in 49 appearances for Manchester United in 07/08, while Ruud Van Nistelrooy (02/03) and o Mo Salah (17/18) both scored 44 goals in 52 games for Manchester United and Liverpool respectively.

However, Haaland is now the No. 1!
