Which stay derby? THE Schalke defeated Hertha Berlin 5-2 at home and took a deep breath, breaking away from the last place of the Bundesliga standings, in the match that opened the 28th matchday!
The hosts got into the match brilliantly and opened the scoring in just the 3rd minute with a terrific shot, crossbar and inside, by Skarke.
A quarter of a minute later, Builder doubled his team’s tally with a header, but the hosts managed to pull one back before half-time with a powerful shot from Jovetic (45+3′).
The second half started exactly like the first, as in the 48th minute it was 3-1 for Schalke with a close-range effort by Teronte.
4-1 was scored with a terrific dig from him Builder in 78′, with Richter to reduce again for the Berliners six minutes later.
The final score was determined in stoppage time with a direct free kick Kaminsky.
Somehow, the “royal blue” got out of the last place in the standings, leaving below them the Herta but also the Stuttgart.
