Betis for four, threw a hat-trick at Espanyol & took advantage of all the… gifts!

The defeats of Villarreal and Society they were giving to Betis the opportunity to enter for good in the bay for the four and Manuel Pellegrini’s team did not let it go to waste.

The “verdiblancos” prevailed 3-1 of Espanyol at home and overtook the “yellow submarine” in 5th place in the La Liga standings, while reducing the gap with the places leading in the Champions League to three points.

Perez (27′ and Miranda (34′) gave a two-goal lead to the Andalusians from the first half, with the “Perikitos” however entering the second half strongly, reducing by Montes in the 48th minute.

Despite all that, Mr Carvalho made it 3-1 in the 69th minute, with Betis holding on and celebrating a very important victory.
