“Golden” Nabi, did not allow PAS to escape!

by

Draws 1-1 -after another shocking match between them this season (same score as the game of the first round) – came the OFI and PAS Giannina!

The Cretans hosted Gianniotes in the context of the 17th game of Super League 1 and although they were better throughout the match, they needed the delays to save even one point. With own goal of Εραμούσπε in the 90’+3′ The hosts equalized, after her shot “Golden” change, Adil Nabi, who had entered the field in the 90 ‘.

The score is opened by Perea in the 54′ -marking his 5th goal this year after November-, with the Cretans having two beams (23 ‘Neira, 61’ Toral). So, the big … six derby for both teams, with PAS remaining 5th (26b.) And in +3 by 6th -but also with fight less– OFI. Voices of the hosts for penalty in the 50′.

In the… minds of coaches:

THE Nikos Nioplas presented OFI with a system 4-3-3 and Waterman under the beams. In the defense, from right to left, Vouros, Pasalidis, Giannoulis and Balogiannis started. Megiado started as a defensive midfielder, with Gayego and Neira in front of him as internal midfielders. On the two “wings” of the attack were Tsilianidis and Lambrou, with Van Dyenen being placed at the top.

Stable in the classic 4-4-2 The Iraklis Metaxas as far as PAS is concerned. Soulis was at home for the second consecutive match. Saliakas covered the right end of the defense, Piersman the left, with Karga and Erabuspe being the duo in the stoppers. The equivalent in the midfield was composed by Liasos and Dominguez, with Brenner and Moreira at both ends, while Perea and Milinceanou as a duo in the attack.

There are many absences for both teams. Except for the hosts were Marinakis, Giannou, Epassi, Sifakis, Ues, Diamantis and Lymperakis.

The guests did not have Lodigin, Athanassiou, Gardavski, Karachalio, Loli, Siondi, Karaganni, Pantelaki, Conte, Economopoulos and Snyder in their services, while they lined up for another game without a substitute goalkeeper on the bench. Their new acquisition was found in the mission for the first time, Caleb Stanko, who also carried out the debut of (passed as a change in 46′).

The match:

Gianniotes were the ones who had the first final in the game (Moreira’s long shot in 4 ‘), but then OFI took action. The Cretans – having a very good day Neira and Λάμπρου– constantly posed threats to the opponent’s home, but having the misfortune to have in front of them a excellent Soul.

The goalkeeper of the guests had answers in the two moments of Lambros (place in 4 ‘and shot from outside the area in 16’), with left beam to stand… at his side in the 23rd minute, when Neira sent the ball over him, after an exceptional individual energy and a long finish.

Then the team of Nikos Nioplias put them in its repertoire static phases, which, however, he could not take advantage of. Mercy, then, to the excellent Soulis – who completed the first part with six rebounds– both teams went to the locker room without a score.

Strong “bass” in the second half for the Cretans, who threatened again with a long shot by Neira in 48′. In fact, at 50′ protested for penalty, after contact Pearsman by Tsilianidis, in a particularly difficult phase, where the Belgian left back went with the elbow.

And since OFI did not put it …, came Perea to punish him at 54′. The absolute protagonist of the Cretans this season left the field with speed, pressed the area, overtook Pasalidis and created accurately from a difficult angle for 0-1.

Nikos Nioplias immediately threw De Guzman, Durmisai and Toral in their game (in the places of Tsilianidis, Van Dainen and Neira, respectively). OFI also noted second beam, this time at 61′ with his head Toral (again on the left beam the ball).

The Cretans had two more opportunities, in 63′ with Durmisai and at 68′ with Lambrou, however, afterwards they seemed quite anxious. And while everything showed that the people of Giannio would leave with a great “double”, the Nabi -who had entered 90′to judge the match at 90’+3′. The ace of the hosts caught a shot at the edge of the big area, with the ball countering to Eramuspe and ending up in the net for the final 1-1.

MVP: So as the game progressed … whether or not the distinction goes to Nabi. However, Soulis and Neira have played a terrible game, while Lambrou followed closely.

The whistle: The phase in 50 ‘is very difficult, where OFI asks for a penalty. Piersman finds Tsilianidis with his elbow, but he has as “mitigating” that on the one hand he does not have a good picture of where his opponent is, who also makes a move towards his hand. Maybe Mr. Tzilos should have been invited to see it at the VAR.

The compositions of the two groups:

OFI (Nikos Nioplias, 4-3-3): Waterman – Vouros, Pasalidis, Giannoulis, Balogiannis – Megiado (90 ‘Nabi), Gayegos (74’ Kastainios), Neira (61 ‘Toral) – Tsilianidis (61’ De Guzman), Van Dainen (61 ‘Durmisai).
