The lottery brought one difficult and two passable obstacles in the way of the Greek National Team for the 2023 World Cup!
The “blue and white” were drawn in the third group, which will be held in Manila and will consist of Greece, USAthe New Zealand and Jordan!
We remind you that the first two teams of each group advance to the second phase of the groups, while the last two continue in ranking matches for positions 17-32. From the second group stage, the top two teams advance to the quarter-finals (to be hosted in Manila) with the matches now being knockouts.
Greece, which was drawn in the third group, if it passes to the second phase of the groups, crosses with the fourth group, in which are the Lithuaniathe MontenegroMexico and Egypt.
The “present” in the draw was given by Vangelis Liolios (President), Nikos Zisis (GM of the Men’s National Team) and Dinos Sverkounos (General Manager).

2nd Group (Manila-Araneta Coliseum): Serbia, Puerto Rico, China, South Sudan

4th Group (Manila-Mall of Asia Arena): Lithuania, Montenegro, Mexico, Egypt
5th Group (Okinawa-Okinawa Arena): Australia, Germany, Japan, Finland
6th Group (Okinawa-Okinawa Arena): Slovenia, Georgia, Venezuela, Cape Verde
7th Group (Jakarta-Indonesia Arena): Spain, Brazil, Iran, Ivory Coast
8th Group (Jakarta-Indonesia Arena): Canada, France, Latvia, Lebanon
