Two victories Panathinaikos in A1 women’s table tennis, exhausts the chances for the title

The weekend in Thessaloniki and the training room of XANTH in the indoor gym “Mimis Tsikinas”, ended with great matches, but also unpredictable results for the ninth and tenth games of the A1 National Women’s Table Tennis.

In the top positions of the standings, the main news is that the second Panathinaikos advanced with two victories and, mainly, overcame the high obstacle of ASEA Sarises Florinas with 3-2 sets. Thus, on the 29th of the month, he will chase his chances for the overthrow against the undefeated Olympiakos, although he is clearly disadvantaged after the defeat in the first round with 3-0 sets.

Panathinaikos gave a match and easily defeated DAO Tavros 3-0 set. Among the results that stood out was the dominance of Pera Athens against Sarises with 3-2 sets.

Panathinaikos had Slovenia Ana Tofant in its composition, but no other foreigner, while it also lacked Elisabeth Terpou. He did not have the strongest trio, however with Toliou on a very good day, he managed to “bend” with 3-2 sets the team of Florina, which also made a tactical move for the victory.

In position 3, he put the French Le Scour and had in 2 the young Aba. For the final outcome, Toliou’s victory against the first player of Sarissa, France Liu, was decisive.
