Three arrests of suspects for the attack on the CSKA guard Alexei Sved, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia announced. The charge brought is grievous bodily harm with intent, as the guard has suffered brain injuries.
Russian Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk told reporters that three defendants in the case of the attack on the basketball player were taken to the police station.
A few hours after the official complaint, the Russian media released the video of the murderous attack that the international guard received outside a restaurant, after the defeat by Lokomotiv Kuban in the seventh and final semi-final of the VTB League.
The perpetrators of the attack on Alexei Sved claimed that because of him they lost money in a bet, the athlete’s wife told RIA Novosti. “They said they lost money because of him since the losssaid the woman.
According to the athlete’s wife, the 34-year-old ace he was released from intensive care, but remains in the hospital.
On Tuesday, CSKA reported that after the decisive loss of the VTB United League playoff semi-finals against Krasnodar Lokomotiv-Kuban, Sved suffered a head injury as a result of a hooligan attack.
