Another transfer for the women’s volleyball team of Panathinaikos.

As Erasitechnis announced, the “greens” made the reliable Croatian center their own, Martina Samandan which will strengthen the block from the new season.

THE 30 years old an experienced player, is the third addition to the “trefoil” roster after Ilioni Kelesidis and Maria Jenitsaridis, while we remind you that Irini Hatziefstratiadou and Penny Roga extended their contracts.

It is worth noting that Samandan was on the road of Panathinaikos during the season, in the matches for the round of 32 of the Challenge Cup with Nantes, where the “greens” managed to qualify.

“Panathinaikos A.O. announces the start of its partnership with Martina Samadan for the 2023-24 women’s volleyball season.

The Club have made another major top-shelf transfer move with the addition of Croatian center Martina Samadan.

The 30-year-old (1.93m) center undoubtedly brings quality to the team’s roster and is expected to significantly strengthen the department in both domestic and European competitions.

Samadan is a key member of the Croatian National Team and has many years of experience on European pitches, while last season she played for Nantes in France.

Martina Samadan told pao1908.com: “I am very happy and excited with the opportunity I was given to play for Panathinaikos. I can’t wait for the season to start and to play in front of the team’s amazing fans.”
