“The Minister of Development and Investments Adonis Georgiades received today, Wednesday 17 May 2023, by the European Competition Commission “Comfort Letter” which allows the Municipality of Athens to signed the contract to begin directly the construction of his stadium project Panathinaikouin Botanikos.
The Minister of Development and Investments Mr. Adonis Georgiadesstated:
“Today it was resolved last pending for the signing of the contract for the start of its work double regeneration and the construction of the Panathinaikos stadium, in Botanical.
I wish all the residents of Athens and especially its fans Panathinaikouthe next few years, yes enjoy the new stadium of Panathinaikos that we finally managed to start its construction.
Felicitate the services of the Ministry of Development and Investments that handled the matter with the European Competition Commission, thanks the European Commission for the “Comfort Letter” and we are proceeding to give Athens one very big project which will change the image of the city”.
