Papagelopoulos from Olympiakos to Panathinaikos

The Panathinaikos Athletic Club announces the start of its cooperation with Nikola Papagelopoulos for the 2023-24 competitive season, for the men’s volleyball division.

In yet another important transfer move, the Association proceeded with the acquisition of the Greek center Nikolas Papagelopoulos.

The 34-year-old (2.04m.) central returns to the “cloverleaf” and with his experience and quality will strengthen the department in achieving domestic and European goals.

In his statement on www.pao1908.com, Nicholas Papagelopoulos said: “After 15 years I am returning to Panathinaikos and I feel particularly honored that I will be a member of a great and traditional force in Greece, having now many and intense experiences all these periods that have intervened so that I can contribute to our effort in Greece and Europe, giving as always the 100% me.

I thank the administration and the coaching staff of Panathinaikos for their trust in me, who with particularly precise moves create a very strong team, proving that they want to return Panathinaikos to the top. I’m also delighted to be working with teammates who I look up to and have celebrated titles together in the past.
