by

His ways parted APOEL by Vladan Milojevic!

As it became known from the Cypriot media, the Serbian coach met with the administration of the Nicosia club where expressed his desire to leave from the technical leadership, with the “divorce” becoming official after a relevant announcement.

The former coach of Panioni and AEK was hired by APOEL in October 2022 without, however, being able to lead the team to win the championship which ended in Aris Limassol.

The announcement in detail:

“We would like to inform you that in a meeting held between a delegation of the management and the coach of our team, an overall assessment of the year was made and the possibility of extending the cooperation between us was discussed. From the administration’s point of view, the intention was expressed to our coach, to renew the cooperation. Mr. Milojevic thanked the management for its intention, but decided that he will not continue working at APOEL.

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Milojevic and his coaching team for the cooperation between us. We spent a difficult and highly competitive year together, we fought honestly with all our strength for the great goal of winning both the championship and the cup and we sincerely thank him for his overall management until the last match. We invite our people, as they have done throughout the season, to come and support the team and our coach and the last match of the league. Let’s thank him all together for the offer of both him and his direct partners. We wish them the best of luck in the next chapter of their coaching careers”

In his statements, Vladan Milojevic thanked APOEL for the cooperation:

“I want to thank the entire structure of APOEL for the cooperation between us. I am proud to have worked in a team with a long history and with people who followed us in every stadium in Cyprus. It was a very difficult year, full of challenges. I think that both me and my partners and my footballers gave everything to make the world of APOEL proud. We may not have reciprocated, but with a title they can be sure that we didn’t stop believing and fighting until the last game, trying to find every possible solution.

I want to thank the management, all my partners and the team staff. I also thank my footballers, with whom we shared moments of joy and moments of sadness, always acting as a family. Finally, a huge thank you, to the world of APOEL, for the acceptance and trust shown in me. I pay them respect and wish them the best for the years to come.”
