Pippen: ‘Jordan was a terrible player before I joined the Bulls’

by

Statements that raise… discussion by Scottie Pippen!

The great forward who wrote his own history with the Chicago Bulls he was a guest on his former teammate’s podcast Stacey King and was asked to comment on the dilemma between LeBron James and Michael Jordan regarding the greatest player of all time.

He avoided giving a clear answer to the question, however, he called Jordan a “tragic player in his early years”, in a statement that has already caused a stir!

In detail what he said:

“Statistically, LeBron James is the greatest basketball player ever. There is absolutely no comparison. But does that make him the greatest player of all time? I’ll leave that up to you, because I believe that because basketball is a team game, no one is the best because no one can win alone. I’ve seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls. And you saw him play. He was a tragic player. He was tragic to play with. He was constantly playing one-on-one, taking bad shots, and all of a sudden we became a team and started winning and everyone forgot who he was.”
