Now it’s official!
Bayern Munich announced the end of the collaboration with him Andrea Trinchieriwho has been on her bench since 2020.
Indeed, in their “tweeting” on Twitter, the Bavarians said goodbye to the experienced coach in Italian, saying: “Thanks again, coach». However, immediately after being eliminated by Ulm in the semi-finals of the championship, the Italian coach had announced his departure.
Meanwhile, Andrea Trinchieri said goodbye with his –separate and naughty– Bayern way, with terrible statements about referees… traffic police and illegal… parking:
“This was my last game as Bayern coach. I came to the team during the pandemic and players and coaches found a way to fight until the end. I think this group deserved more titles. But, at the critical moments, luck turned its back on us. So, we have two titles and two playoff series that went to a fifth game. Things could have been better, but we really gave it what we had“, initially said the Italian and after thanking his colleagues one by one, as well as members of the Bavarian administration, he continued:
“Everything is over. It was an excellent experience. I did my best everyday. I made mistakes and corrected them. That’s it. Thanks and goodbye. I’m just a little… mad that the ref gave me a technical penalty in overtime of my last game. It’s really incredible, because I think it’s unfair to do something like this at such a special time. Some referees think they are… traffic wardens. That you park your vehicle a few centimeters further than the permitted limit and they cut your call. But, we’re not cars and we’re not dealing with… parking here. It’s two teams fighting and an excellent coach on the other side. That’s the only thing that hurt me today. Grazie e arrivederci (mtf. Thank you and see you again said in Italian)».
