New adventures outside of Europe for him Frank De Boer. The Dutch coach, after his unsuccessful stint on the bench of the Dutch national team, left the Old Continent and will continue his career in the UAE where he will coach the Al-Jazeera.
The 53-year-old coach went on Friday night to Abu Dhabi where he discussed the last details with the club’s management and then signed a contract for next season.
De Boer thus becomes Al-Jazeera’s sixth coach in the last seven years and ninth overall in its history, while it is worth noting that its technical leadership was taken over by Laszlo Bologna and Henk Ten Kate which also passed the bench of Panathinaikos.
Frank De Boer’s last job was the Dutch national team, where he stayed from October 2020 until June 2021, counting eight wins, four draws and three losses.
