Declarations in view of the new season of Aris were made by Robert Palikutsa, who was present at the team’s first training together with the new team manager, George Gougoulia.
Among other things, he spoke about the transfer moves, saying that the club is close to completing 3-4 transfers, while it has received proposals for three footballers.
His statements in detail:
“Our players had the opportunity to rest during the break and come back refreshed. The examinations they have taken in the last three days have been satisfactory and today the work for the new year has begun.
The team will travel to Israel, where they will face our friends in Maccabi Haifa in two friendly games. In addition, during our stay there, the team building of the team will begin. A good team dressing room is the foundation of a successful year and I will personally take care of that.
At the beginning of July, the team will move to Bansko and we will also face our friends in Botev in a friendly game at their new stadium. We are really looking forward to this friendly because of the relations we have with the Bulgarian team. We know what this friendly means for the fans of both teams.
After the return from Bulgaria we will probably play two friendly games at home against opponents that will put us in European pace ahead of our obligations in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
We have a new team manager, Giorgos Gougoulias. A former player of Mars, who is very motivated in his new role. In his veins flows “yellow” blood and I want to welcome him to the team. I am confident that he will respond successfully to his duties.
From there, we have progressed so far in selling the Bradley Mass. We have proposals for three more players and in the next few days it will be seen what will happen.
As far as transfers are concerned, we are proceeding according to our plan. By the time the team leaves for Israel we are expecting three new players to arrive with whom we have agreed. In the next few days we will complete another three to four transfers and these players will come to Thessaloniki to sign after our return from Israel.
