Tsitsipas reacted and overthrew Barrer in Halle!

The qualification to the “16” in the Halle 500 tournament was taken by Stefanos Tsitsipas after a great victory over him Gregoire Barer by 7-6(6), 4-6, 6(3)-7, in 2 hours and 25 minutes.

The top Greek tennis player lost the first set and was broken early in the second, but he recovered and qualified.

Stefanos Tsitsipas had six break opportunities in the first set, though none were exploited. Two of them were in the first game, with Barrer stopping him and making it 1-0. In the fifth game, Tsitsipas again reached a break point that went unexploited and then comfortably held his serve, while in the eleventh game he caught fire again. Tsitsipas led 15-30, with the Frenchman erases two break points. The Greek tennis player took the lead again, but his opponent fought back and made it 6-5.
