“AEK BC announces the start of cooperation with Eloy Ramirez, who takes the position of assistant coach, on the staff of Juan Plata.
Eloy Ramirez was born on June 15, 1987, in Seville. He started his professional career at Men’s level, from CB Moron, Andalusian team, in the season 2013-2014, as an assistant coach. He remained in the team until 2016, while he had also taken over the reins as the head coach for one season (2014-2015). In 2016 he took charge of CB Ifach Calpe for one season. CB Melilla followed, where he stayed until the summer of 2019. In 2020 he returned to the CB Moron bench, for two consecutive years, while last season found him as an assistant at CB Tizona SAD
Eloy Ramirez said about his agreement with AEK BC: “My arrival at a big club, in a significant year for AEK, is a huge challenge for me. Together with Coach Juan Plata, with whom it is an honor to work with, we will work to have a creative year, playing beautiful basketball.”
