Eva Koumantsiotou became a PAOK basketball player on Tuesday. AS announced the acquisition of the 19-year-old center, who for the last two years has competed in Aris, while she was in the 14-team squad of the Women’s National Team for the ongoing Eurobasket.

“PAOK and the women’s basketball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Eva Koumantsiotou, for the 2023-2024 season.
Born in 2004, Eva Koumantsiotou plays as a center and is 193cm tall.
She took her first steps in Ierissos of Halkidiki and then held her first term at PAOK, to staff the infrastructure departments of “Dikefalos”.
With PAOK, he competed both in the girls’ and juniors’ teams, winning the EKASTH championship, which qualified him for the Panhellenic Championship.
This was followed by a two-year stint at Aris, with whom he competed in the women’s division, making great individual appearances.
He is international with all age categories of the Greek National Team. In fact, she was in the pre-selection of the Women’s National Team for Eurobasket, even reaching the 14th at such a young age.
Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Eva Koumantsiotou stated on the club’s official website, acpaok.gr: “I am very happy that I will be at PAOK in the new year. I want to thank the management and the coach for their trust. I wish we have a healthy year and achieve the team’s goals.”
