Nikos Tsiakmas was born in Volos on October 29, 1999. He started playing basketball at the age of 5 from the academies of Kolossos Rhodes. He returned to Volos and participated in the academies program of Niki Volos, before settling permanently in Patras in 2008.
For about 8 years he was in Espero Patron, he played in the youth team of Prometheus, while the last three years he played in Apollo Patron.
He had a significant contribution to the rise of the historic team of Patras to A1 (with 8.8 points, 2.5 assists and 37.3% on three-pointers in the 2020-21 season).
During the 2021-22 season, his first in the Basket League, he played in 19 games (3.2 ppg, 50% on 3-pointers.
