Manchester United are looking to loan sidelined Greenwood

His future remains in doubt Mason Greenwood at Manchester United.

Out of action for 1.5 years (January 22, 2022 the last game in which he appeared), the 21-year-old striker was charged with attempted rapewhile he was subsequently left out of the team and has not trained with the rest of his teammates since.

At the beginning of last February, the competent Prosecutor’s Office announced that the charges against him were droppedwith United now being asked to decide on his footballing future.

Although almost five months have passed since the court ruling, United have yet to make a decision, with the English media reporting that the most likely scenario is for the young striker to leave as borrowedsince the coach of the team, Erik Ten Haag, has expressed his disagreement with the possibility of his sale.

His contract with Manchester United runs until the summer 2025while to date he has made 129 appearances with 35 goals.
