The “golden” generation of Greek athletes swept the medals and wrote history, as they conquered overall 10 medalsof which two gold medals, three silver and five bronzewhich are a record for a European championship.
In yesterday’s finals of the competition, the “blue and white” teams excelled, they showed that talent is inexhaustible and combined with hard work, it pays off. The Greek team won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals!
This unprecedented success brought immense joy to the entire mission, but most importantly, it won the respect of all missions, while the leaders of the World Federation separately mentioned the rapid development of our country.
The gold medal won the Greek Star in the Senior Jazz category, who were crowned European champions for the second time in a row. At the top of the “old Epirus” also climbed the Amazons in the Senior Hip Hop category, which gave our country the second, in time, gold medal.
The silver medal was won by Hyades in Junior Hip Hop and the Amazons in Youth Hip Hop, while the bronze medal went to the Amazons in the Junior Hip Hop category and the Greek Star in the Junior Jazz category.
Let’s remember that in Friday’s finals the silver medal was won by Eva Veneti – Asimina Kouveletsou in the senior double cheer hip hop category (Trikala Athletics Association). The bronze medal was won by Anthia Patou and Paraskevi Papatkoudi junior freestyle Pom double (Hellenic Star). Katerina Apostolatou and Nina Andreanidou came in third place in the senior freestyle Pom double category (Hellenic Star), while the Cygnus of AS Helliniko Asteri in the Junior All Girl Advanced category wore the bronze medal on their chests!
The other Greek teams also made remarkable performances. The Amazon Youth Pom placed 4th and missed out on a medal by just 0.1 points. Elena Apostolidou and Maria Parthena Pavlidou (Hellenic Star) also took fourth place in the double junior Hip Hop.
Fifth place was won by AGOP Myrtali in the Junior Jazz and the Aposperides in the Senior Hip Hop, as well as the Greek Star in the Senior Cheerleading All Girl Elite category. Seventh place was won by Amazons in Junior Pom and Greek Star in Youth Pom. The Amazons took eighth place in the Senior Pom category and the Greek Star in the Youth Cheerleading All Girl Median category. 10th place in the Youth Hip Hop category was taken by AGOP Myrtali, Elliniko Asteri in the Junior Pom category and AGOP Myrtali in the Senior Jazz category. The 12th place in the European Championship in the Junior Pom category was won by Art and Sports of Rethymnon. The 16th place in the Senior Pom was won by AGOP Myrtali.
