The position of the goalkeeper for the new season is closed PAS Ioanninawith the Epirus team announcing today (03/07) the renewal of its partnership with Vasilis Athanasiou.
And while it was already preceded by the acquisition of Boris Kleimanlast Saturday (01/07) by PAS.

“P.A.E. P.A.S. GIANNINA 1966 announces the renewal of cooperation with goalkeeper Vassilis Athanasiou.
Athanasiou started his career at Tyella Aigiou to be followed by Paneiyaleios in 2016. In the summer of 2018 he crossed the Greek border for Italy and Albinolefe. After a year’s stay he signed with Mantova where he played in nine matches. In September 2020, he returned to Greece, signing for PAS Ioannina, with whom he made 13 appearances. Vassilis Athanasiou is an international player with the Greek Youth National Team, with whom he has two appearances.
After renewing the contract, he told pasgiannina.gr:
“I am very happy that I will continue to be a member of the P.A.S. family. I thank the administration, my coaches and my teammates for the trust they have shown in me. I will continue to work and give my best himself to achieve our team’s goals”.
