A player of the men’s volleyball team of PAOK is Dimitris Konstantinidis, with the “black and white” announcing his acquisition for the next season.
So, along with him Menelaos Kokkinakis they will compose a very strong duo in the libero position.
PAOK’s announcement in detail:
“PAOK and the men’s volleyball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Dimitris Konstantinidis, for the 2023-2024 season.
Born on 08/05/1993, Dimitris Konstantinidis plays as a libero and is 188cm tall.
He started his career at AO Orestiadas in the 2009-10 season, and remained there until the 2015-16 season, taking a short break in the 2010-11 season where he played for Ethnikos Alexandroupoli.
His excellent performances in the men’s Volley league gave him the opportunity to play for PAOK in the 2016-17 season. With Dikefalos, he competed in the group stage of the leading European interclub competition, the CEV Champions League, while also winning the championship.
He remained at PAOK until the 2019-20 season, adding to the championship of his first season in the “black and white” and two cups.
In the 2020-21 season, he played for Iraklis Thessaloniki, while he then followed a two-year spell at Finikas Syros. On the island of the Cyclades, he won the Super Cup in the 2021-22 season, even having Josko Milenkoski as his coach.
Now, he is returning to PAOK for his second “term” in the “black and white”, composing together with Menelaos Kokkinakis an amazing duo in the position of libero.
Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Dimitris Konstantinidis said:
“I am very happy to return to the PAOK team. I would like to thank the Management and the coaching team, for the proposal they made to me to work together again. I have spent four very nice seasons of my career here, the environment for me is very familiar and familiar, and that was something very important for me to make my decision immediately. As far as the competitive part is concerned, in the last decade the team has been the star and claimed all the titles. This seems to be her goal to do this year as well, as the team being created has experience and depth, and is capable through daily training to be back at the top. This is our goal, we will give our best, to play nice volleyball that will bring people to the court, to achieve together as many and important victories as possible.
