In total, 19 athletes will compete for Greece in the international boxing tournament, 24-31 of the month and it is worth noting that Greece is the fourth country in the tournament with the most athletes, behind Russia, Serbia and Kazakhstan.
This is a historic day, as it is the most populous Greek mission abroad and, in fact, in an event where only women compete.
Our country will be represented in the women’s category by: Chrysoula Plea (54k), Marinella Tsani (60k), Olga Papadatou (63k), Paraskevi Mavromati (66k), Vasiliki Stavridou (75k).
In the category of Juniors (16-17 years old) will compete: Eleni Holidi, Elpida Despoudi (52k), Maria Katehaki (54k), Eftychia Katsirouva (75k).
The girls will be represented by: Christina Fotopoulou, Anna-Maria Trifilli (44-46k), Ioanna Kantzari (48k), Lamprini Giannakopoulou (50k), Maria Georgopoulou (52k), Andromachi Petritsi (54k), Vlasia Mav , Panagiota Kouzilou (57k), Danai Zenounlari (60k), Maria Dasionaki (66k).
Shortly before the departure of the team for Serbia, the president of the Hellenic Boxing Federation, Haris Mariolis, said: “I wish from the bottom of my heart good luck and achievement of every goal to the members of the Greek delegation that will compete in the international boxing tournament in Serbia.
