The Interlagos race track will host from Friday (12) to Sunday (14) the São Paulo F1 GP. The event organizers inform that all tickets have already been sold.
There is an expectation of a total audience of 170 thousand people in the three days of the event, which will officially start with free training on Friday, at 12:30 pm.
Among this year’s novelties, there will be on Saturday (13), at 4:30 pm, the sprint race, a shorter qualifying race, with 24 laps and duration of 30 minutes.
The race, on Sunday, will start at 14:00 and 71 laps. Dutchman Max Verstappen, from Red Bull, leads the World Cup standings.
Gymnast Rebeca Andrade, Olympic champion at Tokyo-2020, will give the final banner.

Vaccines and tests
One of the most important points for public access to the São Paulo GP refers to the protocol adopted due to the coronavirus. Those who purchased a ticket must present proof of complete vaccination (two doses or a single dose) issued by the Chronus i-Passport app, the event’s official health passport.
Registration in the application must be done until Wednesday (10), through the following link: https://passaporte.f1saopaulo.com.br.
For those who are not yet immunized with the full vaccine schedule, such as children between 5 and 12 years old or those who have taken only one dose, it will be mandatory to present a negative test for Covid-19 antigen type (performed within 24 hours before each race track access) or RT-PCR (performed up to 48 hours before each access).
The use of a mask will be mandatory, and there will be totems with 70% alcohol gel spread around the racecourse. Children up to 4 years old cannot enter.
Food and drinks
Up to three food items will be allowed in per person. All sealed and in their original packaging, except in the case of fruit, which must be cut and packed in transparent and non-rigid packaging, of the zip lock type.
It will not be allowed the entry of whole fruits, as well as bottles, cans or any container that could cause physical damage.
How to get
Every year, CET (Traffic Engineering Company), SPTrans (São Paulo Transport) and CPTM (São Paulo Metropolitan Train Company) prepare special public transport schemes for Interlagos during the GP. There are still no details of operations.
On TV
The Band (open TV) will broadcast the practice on Friday, the sprint race on Saturday and the race on Sunday. The subscription channel BandSports will show the training sessions and, on Sunday night, a VT of the race.
