The Kalamaria stadium is renamed “Vassilis Triantafyllidis” in honor of Harry Clynn!

Due to the particularity that from this year exists in our Association with the descent to the EPSM Championship, the team of Apollo Kalamaria, the Administration took the following decisions.

First of all, let’s thank the sports fans of Kalamaria for the huge response that showed and continues to show in the purchase of season tickets, which is a historical phenomenon, for a team that will play in an amateur category.

Following a proposal by President Fotis Baltidis, the following were unanimously decided:

1. Free entry for the disabled to our team’s football matches. Wheelchair users and their companions will register at the secretariat to be allowed free entry to the pitch.

2. All athletes of the Association from all sports, boys and girls, will have free entry to the team’s football matches.

3. As well as all students will enter for free.

4. Also, the President of Apollo Kalamarias has done all the actions (bureaucratic) and Apollo now has a Blood Bank which we will activate in September so that our sports fans can be supported by such an important part of society.

In this recruitment, no one is left out!

The Board of Directors he also made a brave decision, because we will finally have to learn that some people should be honored and recognized for their contribution.

So we decided that the functional part (the existing stand) that was built during Harry Clynn’s time should be called Apollo Kalamaria Stadium “Vasilis Triantafyllidis” (Harry Clynn), honoring his memory and the fact that he was the man who, despite having the power, never changed the name Apollon Kalamarias (neither Pontus, nor Smyrna, nor anything else) and as he himself said everywhere history does not change, Apollon Kalamarias is APOLLON KALAMARYAS!

We asked the Mayor to support a concert in our stadium and let’s celebrate the event together, with free entry and great artists!

The Mayor promised that together with the President of Apollo and with a committee we will go immediately to Athens and the Ministry of the Interior, so that the details and conditions will be clarified and the procedures will be carried out to get rid of the hoarse one called Brovas/1,300,000 €.

With the final solution of this issue, we will convene the General Assembly, since we will have the possibility of the entire Stadium to be honored by the sports fans of Kalamaria and Apollo everywhere for the name.”
