Officially in PAS Ioannina o Marios Tsaousis!
The young left back of PAOK, who in the past few days was very close to Epirus, was officially announced and will wear the jersey of Thanasis Staikou’s team on loan for the next season.
The announcement in detail:
PAE PAS GIANNINA 1966 announces the signing of Marios Tsaousis for next year. The 23-year-old left back was born on May 11, 2000 in Thessaloniki and started his career at the Herakles academies before moving to PAOK in 2010. In Dikephalos of the North, he immediately became the captain of all the development teams (K-15 and K-17), to become the champion of Greece with PAOK’s K-19.
He made his debut with the first team of PAOK in a friendly game against Drama in 2016 to follow the 2019-20 season with his loan to Volos where he scored 16 appearances and two goals in all competitions. In the following season, another loan followed, this time to Spartak Trnava, whose shirt he wore in 13 games, having one assist.
In the 2021-22 season he returned to PAOK competing with the second team in Super League 2 having 23 appearances and 3 assists. In fact, on May 14, 2022, the Greek defender will make his professional debut with PAOK in the away match against Olympiakos.
In the 2022-23 season, he earns a starting position and counts nine appearances with the first team to close the year in PAOK B’ with six appearances and one goal.
Marios Tsaoussis is an international player with all the “small” national teams of Greece.
