An ideal start to a match that lasted… 24 hours for him PAS Ioannina! The Epirotes were imposed 3-0 of Kifissia and entered the new Stoiximan Super League season with the right foot, with the match starting on Saturday and ending on Sunday after problem that existed in the lighting of Zosimades.
Great match from Countwho returned to action scoring twice, with the newcomers having – strictly – disallowed goal at the beginning of the second part.
The final result was formed by Garowith PAS playing with ten at the end thanks to the expulsion of Karahalios.
In the coach’s mind
Formation 4-3-3 chose o Thanasis Staikos, with Kleiman in goal and Soria, Pantelakis, Eramouspe and Kiakos in the rear. Karahalios, Gino and Rienstra played a three in the center, with Pamlidis, Conte and Tsima up front.
THE Yannis Anastasiou he chose too 4-3-3with Christianson under the posts and Masoura, Vafea, Tsapan and Loumor in defence.
Sakic, Adunes and Ipalibo were in midfield, with Tetei, Ozegovic and Anderegen in the attacking trio.
The match
The home team came in much stronger and made it 1-0 in the 4th minute, when his header Pamlidis after a corner it stopped at the left post of Kifissia, with Eramouspe’s effort then going against the bodies.
At 19′, again from a corner, o Christianson impressively saved his header Pantelakiswith the Icelander responding to Karahalios’ fine long-range shot.
Finally, in the 31st minute it was 1-0 for the hostswhen Tzilos gave a penalty after using VAR for Tsapan’s hand, with Count to be hit by the white bullet.
The guests tried to raise their lines but they were behind in the creative part, with the score not changing until the break.
The second part started after… 22 hoursat the mercy of the aforementioned problem in one of the pillars of the pitch, with Anastasiou changing formation and two players (whom he was entitled to use again afterwards, as he did).
The guests came in strong and they equalized after countering Masoura’s ball in the 47th minute, however after using VAR, Tzilos decided to disallow the goal for a foul on Jima at the beginning of the phase…
As if that wasn’t enough for Kifissia, it finally came in the 53rd minute 2-0 with Conte’s excellent free kick!
A couple of set-pieces and a long-range shot by Chrisiouma in the 69th minute that went wide were the most dangerous phases for the visitors, who gained a numerical advantage after expulsion of Karahalios with a second yellow card in the 82nd minute.
Despite all that, we had a third goal from PAS, which made it 3-0 with an excellent header from Garo after balls from Pamlidis in the 8th minute of stoppage time.
MVP: The title rightfully belongs to Pedro Contewho at 35 and with two serious injuries to his credit, came back strongly and with two goals (the second one of great beauty) led PAS to victory.
The… whistle: Plenty of work for him Thanasis Tzilos, who indicated after the use of VAR the penalty with which PAS Ioannina opened the scoring, while in this way we also had the cancellation of Kifisia’s goal, for a foul at the beginning of the phase. A rather harsh tip, with Jima playing easily after marking Sakic.
